Alpinon's neighbor to the South, Southfæld, extends from the Ebon Mountains to the eastern coast. 

On the border between the two realms lies Midrange, the most accessible pass for many leagues.  In the recent Midrange War, hundreds of kobalen came through the pass and turned south to attack the southern realm. 
Southfæld's main city, Glenhallow, lies at the feet of tall mountains.  Here the realm's governor dwells in the gracious palace of Hallowhall, with its famous court of fountains commissioned by the various governors.
